ADVANCED OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY SOLUTIONS AND BEST PRACTICES AT KIOSH 2019

9th Kazakhstan International Occupational Safety and Health Conference and Exhibition - KIOSH 2019 will be held from May 22 to May 24, 2019 in the capital of Kazakhstan, the city of Nur-Sultan at the Exhibition center "Korme".

Today as before KIOSH is the only and key dialogue platform in Kazakhstan, uniting the interests of Government representatives, industry associations, institutions, unions and business to achieve the main goal: to ensure safety and maintain good health of employees at work.

KIOSH 2019 will present manufacturers and suppliers of personal and collective protection equipment (hereinafter - the PPE), textiles, equipment, products for rehabilitation and prevention, large industrial enterprises, training companies and centers for sharing experience and knowledge, discussing topical issues and demonstrating recent achievements in the area of occupational safety and health (hereinafter - Occupational Safety and Health).

Every year, the event brings together more than 2,000 specialists in the field of occupational safety and health.

Today, corporate social responsibility is the basis and one of the framework conditions for the country's sustainable development. Transformations in the area of occupational safety and health positively influences growth of interest in the Kazakhstan market from domestic and foreign manufacturers of personal and collective protective equipment. Thus, 15 new companies joined the permanent exhibitors, representing 38% of total number of exhibitors.

The interest of Chinese exhibitors in KIOSH was noted this year. In particular, Chinese companies will present technologies for creating protective footwear, all types of fabrics for workwear, including fire resistant ones, as well as wide range of PPE.

Besides Chinese manufacturers, companies from Russia and Turkey participate in the exhibition for the first time, presenting various means of individual and collective protection, including respiratory protection, automated systems for mass medical examinations of employees and equipment for civil defense protective structures.

In parallel to the exhibition, from May 23 to May 24, the KIOSH Conference on "Occupational Safety and Future of the World of Work" will be held at the Exhibition center "Korme". At the Conference, exhibitors will discuss topical issues of industry development - introduction of digital technologies for occupational safety and health in industries, new PPE, safety management systems, as well as state and internal control.
